  • The number of applicants for each term is the total number of applicants for Phase I and Phase II.
  • The transfer period will be April 2026.
  • Those who transfer to the second year may only study for three years and may not stay for more than six years.
  • Those who transfer to the third year may only study for two years and may not stay for more than four years.
  • *In each course of the Department of Language Studies, Faculty of Language Studies, non-Japanese nationals are not allowed to select courses in their native language or mother tongue.

Selection Process

  1. Departamental proficiency test (1 subject)
  2. Document screening.
  3. interview
    Transfer admission selection: about 10 minutes per person
    Adult transfer admission selection: about 10 minutes per person

A comprehensive pass/fail judgement will be made.
If you miss the written exam, you will not be able to take the interview.
If you miss the interview, all exam results will be void.
